Just came back from Carmen's house about a few hours ago. Yup, I stayed over at her house. This weekend has been a weekend of sleepovers. Nicole slept over in my room on Friday night and I stayed at Carmen's house last night.

Web Toy application had been a great addition to my life just recently. It's fun!

Going to start watching a new drama series now, Switched At Birth. Just a quick question here, if so happened you discover that your child isn't your biological child after all, what will you do? Does blood ties really matters, of is the time spent together all that matters?

Went out to Village Mall with Mandy and Nicole today, thanks for the belated birthday present girls.

I need to do something to my hair asap, shorten it I will, but I will definitely need to straighten my hair this time around, as the frizz monster has invaded it. I was thinking instead of straightening, maybe I should curl my hair instead. In a dilemma now, *decide decide*.With the talks about managing curled hair, I am kind of worried now. AH!!! On the other hand, I really would like to try something new.

Lets just keep the matter aside, let me introduce my new multipurpose pet instead.

It's super fluffy and huggable, just like an oversized cotton ball. Why is it multipurpose? Well it's a pillow, soft toy, arm warmer, elbow rest, a happy pill and the list keeps on getting longer by the day.

I know I promised this post will be about my London trip, but I have decided to blog about something else instead.

First up will be my first ever sewn pillow case. The cutie chicks embellishments are just too adorable. *squeals*

Next I had my first henna done. Did them doing the mooncake festival held at my Uni about a week back.I have been attending yoga sessions for two weeks now, at least my body is receiving some form of exercise. Haha.

It's September already, so I think it's time to wake up now? *cues wake me up when September ends*

Reached Singapore around noon, rested the whole day at my grandaunt's house. Our USS journey started on the very next day. Toured the whole studio until 8something pm(or perhaps even later), I can't really remember.

Today, I am going to all of you a little story, a story about a girl who just can't get enough of BROS bottles, the only obstacle is that, they ain't cheap. She was drawn to them mainly because of their irresistible designs. I mean HELLO, where else can you get such cute and whimsical designs.

This was the girl's first BROS bottle. She was really into it's super cute lady bird design. She kept bringing it to class everyday, it was really her loyal companion. No complaints from it despite countless drops it suffered. Day by day it started to age, then by the Nth day, it was time for the handle to say BYE BYE. At the time the girl didn't know that all of BROS bottles comes with purchasable accessories. Now that she knows, maybe she will hop into one shop and start looking for them.

This was a spur of the moment purchase, so happened the girl was in dire need for one XL bottle, and this bottle was totally calling for her attention because it was wearing a "BUY ME, BUY ME, I'm 50% off today" necklace. It wasn't really 50% off, but it was really on a attractive discounted price. So there, a second BROS bottle to add to the girl's loot.

This was the girl's third and sadly the last purchase for now. The charm of the milk bottle design was just too special to resist, the girl just had to get her hands on them. It still last her faithfully till today. It looks so real that even the girl's lecturer asked her whether is it a real milk bottle. =)

So there you have it, a story about a girl and her BROS bottles.

With the recent happenings in Japan, everyone is left with THE question. Is the world really coming to an end? The question still remain frosty, but the most important question is what will you do if are told that today will be your last day.

Some of friends said they want to eat all the things they haven't tried before, tried all the things they haven't tried. The one and only similarities all of us have is that we want to spend the final day with our family. Just chat the night away, no elaborated meals required, just a simple one will do.

Maybe 2012 is really coming, I haven't watch the movie yet, by the way.

After A Long Hiatus

It's nearing the month of March... 2 months gone just like that. Less than a month to CA3. *screams*

Can't wait to go back, 5 more weeks, weeeeeeee!!! Nothing much has been going on in my life, just the normal class-lab-5-7 class routine.

Entered a scrabble competition for the first time and of course playing for the first time after don't know how many years, about 6 years? Tried my hands playing darts for the first time too, it was fun. =P
Time passes quicker and quicker by the day, before we know it 2012 is just a day away, yet again another year has passed.

Made American Breakfast for the first time too this year. I just love BACON. *salivates*

It's 2.1.2011 today

Had breakfast at 8.15, came back, searched some movies to watch on youtube. Found one movie, let it buffer, took a nap from 9-11, and here I am staring blankly at my Conservative notes and finally decided to blog.

I must finish up my Conservative notes by today and hopefully a few of my Prosthetics notes.

I dislike Sundays, have I mentioned it before? I dislike Mondays as much as I dislike Sundays. Where can I buy the 7days in a week set of Tshirts? Anyone?

I really want them!!! Maybe a lil DIY project will help.

Anyway tomorrow will be a new schooling year for all school going children, Happy Schooling ya, stay in school(quoted from She's the Man)

Why am I updating my blog at this hour, hmmm, because my class is at 10 tomorrow. *throws confetti* Just finish studying Intro to History, 10 chapters down. Exam on Friday. Chapter 10: The Start of A New Beginning

What is it Ling?

Gently she slipped on the ring Lee gave her, a few weeks back. The shine of the diamond really radiates her graceful hand, and tear flowed down her cheek. Lee couldn't help but teared as well, after years of watching her from a distance, she is finally his.

No elaborated wedding was held, just a simple ring exchange ceremony. Lea has never been happier, as she knows that Lee is going to be wonderful husband to her mum and a father to her.

Wai Ling sealed her memories with Galino in box, locked but with her heart as it's key, for the moments she wants to have a quiet time reminiscing the past, Lee is her man now, but time is still needed to completely mend her heart.

Ling, come here,

Lee was seated comfortably on the coach watching a special video he made, gathering pictures of the wonderful childhood he had with Ling. He cuddled Ling, and they laughed at their silly antics, their bond was indeed irreplaceable, and both of them knew that.

I Love You Ling, I always have.

Together they went for a stroll in the park, their favourite hide out in the past, sitting under a tree they look at life differently now, they have each other now, memories of the past will still remain but life will go on.

Just came back from my oh so short term break. We just can't seem to get enough of holidays can we. Shall post some pictures from my birthday celebration, this is some really overdue pictures, like a month ago?

2-5pm labs have been really tiring. Thanks to Tech Lab I finally learnt how to use a lighter, very much thanks to Caryn for teaching me. We arranged our set of natural teeth today, to all the people out there who "willingly" donated their teeth, don't worry your teeth are in safe hands, muahahahaha.

Chapter 9: Shadowing Past

My dear Wai Ling,

By the time you read this letter I wouldn't be here anymore, God have other plans for me, and I shall not lie to you that I was all calm when I knew about my sickness because I wasn't. The first thing that crossed my mind was you, how was I supposed to break the news to you, my one and only love. I knew about the affection Lee has for you, and with his presence I felt a sense of happiness as I knew that he will always be there for you no matter what. I told Lee about my sickness and he assured me that he will always be there for you.

Jealousy was inside me when I first made up my mind to talk to Lee, but my love for you surpassed it.

I knew that you won't be able to accept the truth, so I decided to slowly distance myself from you with all the night works excuses and Charlotte picture in my pocket. The times when I wasn't at home, were the times I were in the hospital seeking treatment, and images of you and Lea kept on appearing on my mind.

And for the times I was at home, were the hardest period of my life. You, Wai Ling is my one and only love, I can't bear to see you cry after learning about my sickness so I chose the easy way out, the path only a weak man will choose.

I knew you have reached your breaking point when you saw the picture of me and Charlotte in my pocket. I let out a sigh and smiled to myself, and said to myself, "I did it" I knew that you wouldn't tolerate me any longer as you have once told me that no woman can accept another woman in her husband's life.

Charlotte isn't who you think she is, she's just my college mate that so happened agreed to my plan. Rest assured that you are and will always be the only woman in my life.

I dropped to my knees and started crying uncontrollably. Galino, I Love You too.

I looked at Lee and started scolding and hitting him, why didn't you tell me. WHY. he grabbed me and I laid my head on his chest and he wiped my tears away with his hand. Ling, Galino knew what he was doing and he did what he did for you.

I went back home and locked myself in my room, I was full of guilt. After reading the letter I was full of confusion, I love Lee, but guilt was slowly taking over me.

6 months have passed, I was slowly adapting myself following Galino's death, I know I have to move on, I can't keep on living in the past.

I heard knocking on my door, and Lee was standing outside my house, he embraced me and gave me a peck on my cheek. I haven't met Lee for this 6 months too, as told him I needed some time to think.

It's Merdeka yet again, how time flies. Life have been kinda hectic these days, but we had our share of fun yesterday when we were given permission by our Uni's very own 3 musketeers, to play with wax. Oh boy, it was so much fun when we are just given the leeway to do what we want to do without any barricades surrounding us.

Last night AIMST held a rather grand Merdeka celebration with fireworks display to boot. Can't wait for Saturday to come, because I will be on a 5 hours road trip back home.

So cute right the name, in reality the subject it is related to, ain't cute in any way at all. Watched The Young Victoria yesterday, the movie was nice, just right for me. At least for me, because I didn't fast forward it. I think I am getting a lil nutty, because I saw a walrus in an anatomical drawing of the brain. It's May, meaning we are just 7 months away from a new year. Will be watching a movie again tonight after a dose of Biochemistry.

What, it's Friday again. 4 weeks to study break. Had Oral Physio class today regarding Speech, how funny is it, it's like deja vu, recapturing my bittersweet memories yet again.

Just that, I wasn't the girl I used to be about 5 years back, things have changed for the better. It has bought much improvements in my life.

Went Central Square today, had McD. It's proven now, CS hates me, like seriously, every time I come back from there, I always have headaches.

Adsalympics(Amazing Race)

Finally an event with me in it. What to do, I am not exactly the sporty type. My athletic points is ~~100/100~~ 0/100. Anyhoo, I joined Amazing Race and I enjoyed every bit of it. We ran/walked the whole of AIMST. There's 10 of us in a group and there's 10 groups competing.

The results ain't out yet. My nose is as red as a clown's now. My skin is like ~~23435~~ 2 shades darker now.

That's all, having a slight headache now. Argh.

Adsalympics(Cheerleading+Basketball)

Today marks the first day of ADSAlympics 2010, woohoo. Cheerleading was first on the list, what better way then having 5 groups of active, enthusiastic and psycho freaks(in a good way) cheering their heads off. A good head start indeed with their mind-blowing and choreographed performances. My batch won third place. GO STOMPERS!!!

Scribbling in her blue note book, a small girl suddenly stood up and ran out of her class screaming. HELP! HELP!

Teachers, and students ignored her, without even the slightest concern was given towards the little girl. HELP! HELP! she continued screaming, covering her small delicate ears with her dainty hands.

No one paid any attention to her, no one seemed to noticed her slightest presence. She just continue running until she reached a corridor. She just stumbled and fell down, her palms were bleeding so were her knees. She slowly made her way to the a corner and wept silently. HELP! HELP! she whispered under her breathe.

Zi Ling, Zi Ling, wake up. Zi Ling, Zi Ling. Can you hear us. Zi Ling. Slowly gaining consciousness, she gently opened her eyes with tears trickling down her cheeks. Silently lifting her head up, Xi Long gave her a peck on her forehead.

Zi Ling, are you okay?

She nodded, and looked at Xi Long and cried. She was overwhelmed by emotion, she quickly covered her teary eyes with her palms.

The small little girl was a reflection of her childhood, a memory she once had.

Sobbing by herself, the little girl looked at her surroundings and cried, what has she done to deserve this.

The little girl was fragments of her bitter childhood. A memory that she tries hard to put behind.

Every time she closes her eyes, the little pair of eyes longing for attention always appear. It's a memory that can't be erased no matter how hard she tries.

Chapter 8: A Sense of Freedom

I am finally free again, not more clipped wings, I could feel a sudden swift of freedom around me. Those lonely nights I had, those memories will all be deleted.

Walking out from my lawyer's room, I feel happy and eager about starting my new life with Lea. Lea has grown up to be a pretty girl, pretty much adjusted to not having Galino around her. I took up a part time job in a small quaint craft shop just down the block I am staying.

Lee is there for me, throughout the post divorce stage. We started hanging regularly, he even has a made shift bed in my apartment for the occasional nights we hanged out a little too late.

I started joining more and more social activities to soak in the goodness of being free once again.

I just threw the letter at my bed side table. I grabbed my coat, and rushed to the park, I was late for my date with Lee. Suddenly I heard my name being called.

Wai Ling right.

Yes.

Hi, I am Charlotte, a friend of Galino.

Deep down I knew she wasn't just a friend, she was his mistress. I remember seeing a photo of them in his pocket. I just give her a faint smile and walked away with Lee in hand.

Wai Ling, do you have a second.

I just continued walking.

He is dying.

I stopped, and Lee wrapped his hand around my waist.

Please go and see him, you are the last person he wants to meet.

I couldn't bear to bring myself to see him, I just took Lee's hand and started walking fast down the road. I could feel tears trickling down my cheeks, and Lee's hand wiping them. I kept silence throughout our date, I was confused.

I didn't tell Lea about her father.

I brought Lea to the hospital, standing outside the hospital, Charlotte spotted me and brought me to Galino's room. I stopped outside the door and I told Lea to go inside, I couldn't pull myself to see him. Through the tinted door, I see his now fragile and weak body, he caught a glimpse of me, and muttered my name, I quickly turned around and walked away.

Lee knew about the letters and my visit. Yet he said nothing about them. I was betrayed by Galino yet I can't deny the fact that I did love him before.

I went to hospital the next day again, I felt a pat on my shoulder. Wai Ling, he's gone. I closed my eyes and my eyes filled with tears. She passed me a letter.

Tomorrow's the start of my final module for Year 1.

What I did during my break?

Dined at BBQ Chicken for 2 consecutive nights. Not bad I would say taking into consideration the freshness of their salad.

Had my fair share of spaghetti, specially cooked by my mum.

Went to catch a movie with my ex-yoga buddy, Wen Yih.

What did we watched? Alice in Wonderland of course.

Then on Monday, I went shopping at Sungei Wang with Mandy

Had lunch at EspresSoup, the mushroom soup was nice, albeit a little bit salty. The plus point is there's actually chunks of mushrooms in the soup.

Visited Cotton On for the first time. Bought 5 items from there.

On Friday, my mum and I went to Puchong to have lunch. Had food poisoning, or at least I think it was food poisoning.

Came back to AIMST yesterday with the one and only Miss Khoo. Bought keropok lekor at the bus station just to satisfy our craving for them.

Here I am now feeling kind of reluctant attending lectures yet again tomorrow.

Yet Another Dream

I dreamt something really nonsensical last night. Somehow me and friends were caught up in some kind of bus problem? Can't really recall what's the exact problem we had.

So the scenario then switches to an old house located somewhere deserted. There's a religious man inside the house saying that there's a secret railway track located in the house, and we were asked to hop onto a train. A railway track in a house? hmmm, there's something special. Anyway I suspected something fishy and I gave my parents a nudge, signaling that we should leave immediately.

The man then gave my dad some type of holy water I presumed, and my dad drank it. Perhaps I was wrong about the whole mysterious railway track, maybe it really does exist, but no risk shall be taken.

I woke up from my dream and I thought what a big silly mistake I made by not hopping on the unseen train. Maybe mysteries do exist.

For a first time in a long time, I watched a movie on my laptop without fast forwarding it. I watched Tooth Fairy. Well there's a HUGE mistake made at the very beginning, An INCISOR? It remained hidden amidst the strong and powerful walls terrorising its fragile body. The jewels in the other room will remained buried, unseen and unheard.

With just a gentle push, the door can be open and we can untangle its mystery and power. Never let a piece of wood refrain you from discovering new things, new adventures. Never judge a door by its exterior appearance, what's inside may unleash your inner self.

A door, is like a boundary just without any written rules asking you not to pass beyond it. It's just the fear of getting hurt that becomes the unofficial golden rule. We are often shoveled to a corner and are expected to do what we are told. We are expected to just follow what the others are doing, no questions asked. The world is slowly revolving into a tiny piece of dot, so rigid yet so frightening.

We are slowly losing our creativity with all the rules laid out for us. To every issue, there's always a pro and anti group. Priority is given to the "bigger" group, and all of us are asked to insert a microchip in our brains, requiring us to do what is "right"

The door, a line drawn by us as we are just too afraid to step out from our little comfort zone and the stereotyped zone the society has in mind for us.

The door, just a piece of wood yet so deafening and intimidating.

Went to Penang with Mandy, her sis and her sis's boyfriend yesterday. Left AIMST around 11 and reached Qbay at 12.30. Had lunch at T-Bowl, a uniquely innovative toilet concept restaurant. Ordered Tuna Cheese Baked rice but didn't manage to finish it.

We then watched The Spy Next Door. The movie was hmmm, not bad I would say. I find it weird seeing Billy Ray Cyrus acting in the movie, after being all too familiarised seeing him act in Hannah Montana.

Shopped for a couple of hours then we headed back. Sungei Wang's clothes prices are definitely much lower priced. Meaning we can get almost identical or 100% identical clothes for about 50% off in Sungei Wang, in the "ALL FOR RM25" shops. The only drawback that we can't try the clothes. That wouldn't be much of a problem right, girls??? *wink**wink*

It's Friday tomorrow peeps, F R I D A Y...... can you feel it coming??? Fell down yesterday, mind you it wasn't just any fall, but it involved a very "unique" slide. Kind of scary come to think of it now, it's like as though I was on a slide just that the surface wasn't FLAT. Luckily Mandy(previously known as Ying Ying 2) grabbed hold of my hand, if not I would have landed on the ground floor, and my butt would be flatten like a pancake. It happened on the flight of stairs from the third floor to the second floor at the Dentistry Faculty. Reminder to all AIMSTERS: be careful when walking down the stairs, it's kinda slippery and narrow.

Went to Tesco just now, with my friends. Took our dinner at Old Town, had a great laughing session. The food was nice too.

I bought a printer too, at last. Came back and started installing the CD and all those things needed to get the printer running. Tried printing a picture to ensure the printer is functioning well, but somehow I was greeted with spots of smudged ink on the paper. I thought maybe it's normal because I am printing something for the first time. To my dismay the same thing happened again after my second attempt. I was feeling kind of worried. I then tried to put my investigating skill to good use, and VOILA I managed to detect the culprit. The VENTILATION HOLE was closed!!! Pressure wasn't exerted, hmmmm PHYSICS.

Of Dreams

I dreamt about 3 totally unrelated dreams last night. No, I am not chased by a monster, or any of those sort of dreams. People that were in my dream: my primary and secondary school friends, my former teachers, my American pen pal which I supposed to have, 2 baddies, my aunt.

Dream 1:
I was at my primary school attending Hari Keluarga, I met lots of friends there, including my childhood friend Li Huay. I asked her to accompany me while I explore the school, as I misses it badly. She rejected at first so I went on my own, but a short while later I saw her behind me. We walked and walked, until we reached a house, we even went in to do some tie dye with paper napkin. We presumed it was the headmaster's house.

When we went back to meet up with the rest, they asked whether we should go some place to buy presents for our teachers.......

Somehow the story stopped there.

Dream 2:
I was at my grandparents' house rummaging through some old letters, when I discovered a letter addressed to me still sealed. I read the letter, It was from my pen pal about 18 years ago, having a pen pal at a age of 2, magical isn't it. She was from America, I called her family from the contact number she left of the letter but I discovered she died recently due to natural disaster.

Dream 3:
I was alone in a deserted car park when I saw two man dressed in yellow behaving very oddly, I knew something was amiss and quickly made my exit.

Then before I knew it I woke up and it was 12 noon and here I am typing out the chronological sequence of my dream. Going to eat tuna spread later, can you smell something fishy?

My Apo

It was in the morning before I left for school, I was lying on the bed when Mama received a phone call saying that Apo has passed away. It wasn't a shocking news for us as Apo has been sick for a few weeks prior to her death. Yet I failed to control my tear glands and I started crying. We made our journey to Apo's house, the house I lived till I was 8.

I looked at Apo, holding back my tears, she has gone to Heaven. I sat on the sofa crying, consoled by my cousin brother. The funeral parlour people came, and they did their job. I still went to school that day as I had a Living Skill project to be completed.

Till this day I will always remember Apo, and the red wormy like preserved fruit she loved to eat. Apo will always boil Kacang Soup for me Che Che as that's our favourite soup. She will always have a small black radio near her when she is sleeping, playing Chinese Oldies.

Even during her golden years her hair is still silky black, it is in the genes said Mama. She felt sick few weeks prior to her death, and few days before she passed away, she asked me and Che Che to spend a night with her, we knew her time was up. My sister was away for her National Service few weeks before Apo death and Apo came on asking Mama when will Che Che be back. We all knew that she was going to die and she wanted to meet all her grandchildren before she leave this world.

Come this March and it will be 6 years since Apo left us. A lots of happy things happened, and I know that she is in Heaven smiling and giving us her blessings. Apo may you rest in peace and remember you will always have a place in all our hearts. You may not be here to witnessed Koko's wedding and the birth of your first great granddaughter, but you will always be our dearest Apo.

Che Che and I have been very fortunate to have Apo taking care of us, cooking us meals and nagging us at times. I have many fond memories with Che Che at my grandparents' place, it was the place I first learnt to roller skate.

Life have to go on even with your loved ones gone. They wouldn't want to see us crying but instead seeing us moving on with our life. Even with their absence, their presence will always be there in our heart.

I love listening to patriotic songs, I just love the kind of mood it creates whilst listening to them, subtle yet breathtaking. Somehow or rather the new and upbeat patriotic songs these days haven't really thrown me into full swing yet. You know the feeling "oooh, it's a patriotic song.........that's it", there's no urge to sing along to it. Call me an old school girl perhaps.

I have somehow managed to sustain my blog for one year and hopefully many more years to come. I still remember vividly about my Penang trip with my friends last year. Has it really been one whole year? Time certainly flies. Stayed a night at Alor Setar and 3 nights at Penang with my parents. Bought lots of clothes, hey they were on sale. =P

Christmas was celebrated with Carmen eating meehoon goreng. Not forgetting the hohoho guy too.

Let me bring you for a short stroll

Destination: to my hostel toilet shower cubicle

Say hi to Specimen A, the alien staying in my toilet.

I was bathing when I suddenly took notice of some head like structures in between the toilet tiles.
I can tell a story based on shoe marks and any other marks left on walls, look closely everything have a story etched on them.

In her zombie-fied state I told Carmen there's little people taking refuge in our toilet, of course she gave the STARE, thinking I was a complete psycho, but I managed to justify my discovery by taking her to the scene.

I bet, she is starting to keep a distance from me, after discovering what a imaginative freak I am. Right Carmen? *wink**wink*

Last day of school tomorrow before the awaited two weeks study break, just slash the study in the study break will ya, then it will be a complete joy instead of the total opposite. *boohoo*

Saliva Test

Was asked to chew some waxy chewing gum like substance for 5 minutes to activate our glands to produce saliva. I nearly puked while chewing that thing, ewww. It is tasteless really but it's just my reflex actions doing their job.

There's only practical tomorrow, so ya, tomorrow's practically a free day. *dances like a baboon*

1) Dental Dinner was so-so.
2) Parents coming over on Friday.
3) Going to spring clean my room this Thursday, but rest assured, the dust bunnies and strands of hair will miraculously appear despite my absence in my room during my 5days holiday with my parents.
